The Welcome House is a place devoted to making God’s presence known to all people. We are dedicated to making disciples of Jesus, disciples who are sold out to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and passionate about sharing Him with the world. We are a place where faith and the world collide, and the hope of the empty tomb is proclaimed. We are grounded in the Holy Scriptures because we believe it is there where we see not only what God has done and is doing but more importantly what He WILL do in the future. We know that in this place where God has called us to serve His people, life is not always easy or pretty.
College life presents challenges and opportunities beyond our wildest imaginings. And it is here where God is revealed in new and amazing ways. This is not your typical faith community. This is a tribal community focused not on religion but rather on relationship. Relationship with God and His people. We love people as Christ first loved us, totally and without judgment. We strive to function as the early church; we gather together, share our resources, worship God and spread the gospel, sometimes with words but mostly with deeds.
We hold fast to the promise that when two or more believers gather, that He is there also.
